Ups and downs cushion crochet pattern

Through the years I’ve gathered quite some yarn and I’ve decided to use it, before I buy new yarn! After some experimenting I came up with this ups and downs cushion crochet pattern.

I used acrylic worsted weight yarn to make this ups and downs cushion crochet pattern. You can use any sort of yarn you like, with the matching crochet hook. The used pattern is very easy and looks great!

Please enjoy this ups and downs cushion crochet pattern!

Ups and downs cushion crochet pattern.

Materials

  • 2 skeins acrylic worsted weight yarn
  • Crochet hook 5 mm
  • Pillow to stuff

Measure the length of your cushion. Crochet a chain that has the same size. Make sure you have an even amount of stitches.

Row 1:
Make a single crochet in the second stitch from the hook. Single crochet in the other stitches. Chain 1 and turn.
Row 2:
Single crochet in the first stitch. Double crochet in the next. Keep repeating until the end of the row. Your last stitch will be a single crochet. Chain 1 and turn.
Row 3
Single crochet in the first stitch (That’s the last single crochet from the previous row), double crochet in the next stitch (which was also a double crochet in the previous row). Keep repeating until the end of the row. So you made a single crochet in each single crochet, and a double crochet in each double crochet. Chain 1 and turn.

Repeat row 3 until you reach the desired height. Make another square in the same way.

Finishing
Lay the two sides together and use single crochets to close them.
Make sure you put in the stuffing pillow before you close completely.

Your cushion is finished. I hope you enjoyed this ups and downs cushion crochet pattern. If you have any questions, you can ask them at the end of this page. Or you can use Facebook to contact me.
