Eyes

Information
Chain 8 and close to form a ring.
12 dc in the ring
2 sc in each st around. Fasten off.

Use Colourcrafter 1005 and a sewing needle. Make loops around the eye, as shown in the pictures. Place the safety eye through the circle and close at the back. The eye will be attached later. Make another eye.

Beak

Use Catona 388 and crochet hook size 2,5 mm. Crochet a mr with 6 sc.

Fold the top of the beak together and close with 7 or 8 sc. Fasten off and leave a sewing tail. Sew the beak on the head, between round 21 and 22.

Sew on an eye. Only use the back of the eye, so the stitches don’t show on the front. The eye covers a bit of the beak.

Sew on the other eye next to it.

Bristles

Use Colourcrafter 2010. Cut 4 strands of yarn that measure about 14 cm. Fold the pieces. Put the hook through the head, between round 8 and 10. Pull up a loop. Pull the ends through the loop and pull to fasten. Cut the bristles so they’re about 2 cm long.

Feathers for the wings

Use Colourcrafter 1005 and 2010, with crochet hook size 3,5 mm. Make 6 feathers with each colour, so you have 12.

Information
