Use Catania 437. In round 8 you have to crochet the thumb, like this:

Yarn over, place your hook in the next stitch and pull up. Pull the yarn through the first two loops, one loop remains. Yarn over, place your hook in the same st and pull up. Pull through the first two loops.

Yarn over. Place your hook again in the same stitch and pull up. Pull the yarn through the first 2 loops, you still have 4 loops on your hook. Pull the yarn through all loops and chain 1.

Stars

I made three stars, two with Catania 436 and one with Catania 402.

Star

RoundInformationStitches
1Crochet a mr with 6 sc6
22 sc in each st around12
36* (sc, inc)18
46* (sc, inc, sc)24
56* (3 sc, inc)30

We’ll make the first point:

  1. Crochet a sc in the first 6 stitches of your round. Chain 1 and turn. The other stitches are left unused.
  2. Dec, 2 sc, dec. Chain 1 and turn. You’ll have 4 stitches.
  3. Sc, dec, sc. Ch 1 and turn.
  4. Dec, sc. Ch 1 and turn.
  5. Dec. Ch 1.
  6. Crochet 5 sc along the diagonal part of the point. Go to the next sc of your round and repeat from step 1 to make the next star point.

Make 5 points in total.

After the last point we’ll crochet an edge with sc along the star. You’ve just made the five sc along the diagonal part of your last star point.

*Go up at the next point and crochet 5 sc. Crochet 3 sc in the top of the point. Go down and crochet 5 sc. Repeat from * until you reach the first st of this round. Close with a sl st and fasten off. Leave a sewing tail. Crochet another star, you don’t have to leave a sewing tail for this one.

Place the stars together, with the wrong sides on the inside. Sew them together, use the inner loops of the edges.

When you reach the 3rd point, you attach it to the music box. Fold a knot in the rope of the box and place it between the two stars. Sew the top and pull the needle through the rope as you sew. Repeat a couple of times to make it secure.

Sew the rest of the star together and stuff as you go.

Crochet two more stars. Use a piece of yarn to attach them to the cloud, like you did with the mobile rope.

Sew the stars on the sides of the cloud.

Rope

Use 105 and 436 and crochet hook size 3 mm. Chain 70, fasten off. Sew the rope on the sides of the cloud.
