Rachel bun beanie crochet pattern

I made this nice Rachel bun beanie crochet pattern for cold days and love to share the pattern with you. The yarn I used is named ‘Rachel’. It’s a dk weight yarn. I used crochet hook size 6 mm.

ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
st = stitch
mr = magic ring
inc = 2 dc in 1 stitch

Rachel bun beanie crochet pattern

Close each round with a slip stitch. Then chain 3. Each chain 3 is the first dc of the next round. Don’t turn.

Round 2	Ch 3, dc in the same st; 2 dc in each st around	24
Round 3	Ch 3; inc in next st; dc in next st ; inc in the next. Repeat from around	36
Round 4	Ch 3; dc in next st; inc in next st dc in next 2 st;inc in the next. Repeat from around	48
Round 5	Ch 3; dc in next 2 st; inc in next st; dc in next 3 st;inc in next st; Repeat from around	60
Round 6	Ch 3; dc in next 3 st; inc in next st; dc in next 4 st;inc in next st; Repeat from around	72

Now we begin another stitch. From here on you have to turn after each round. The rounds are still closed with a slip stitch, but you don’t have to chain 3 anymore.

Round 7

Ch 4; 3 dc in the same stitch:

*Skip the next 3 stitches; sc in the next stitch, chain 3; 3 dc in the same stitch as the chain 3 you just made.

Repeat from * around, until you have 3 stitches left. Close with a slip stitch in the first stitch of round 7.

Round 8

Turn your work and chain 4. Crochet 3 dc in the first loop of the chain 4 you just made.

Go to the first dc cluster on the left (you made it in round 7) There’s a space between the 3 dc and the chain 3 in that cluster. *Crochet a sc in that space.

Chain 3 and crochet 3 dc in the same space where you made the sc.

Go to the next cluster and repeat from *. Keep repeating until you reach the last cluster of the previous round.

Crochet a sc in the space between the chain 3 and 3 dc of that cluster. Then go the first cluster you made in this round (round 8) and crochet a sl st in the space between the chain 3 and 3 dc. Your round is closed now.
