of v-stitch. Repeat until the end of the row. Ch 1, sc in the last st. Ch 3 and turn.
Repeat row 8 and 9 another 11 times. Then crochet row 8 one more time. Turn and crochet a sc in each st and each ch. You’ll have 200 stitches again. Repeat row 2 until 6. Fasten off.
|Row 1||Dc in the 5th ch from the hook. Dc in the other stitches. Ch 3 (1st dc of next row)|
|Row 2||Crochet in back loops only: dc in each st. Ch 3 and turn.|
|Row 3||Crochet in front loops only: dc in each st. Ch 3 and turn.|
Repeat row 2 and 3 another 4 times. Then crochet row 2 one more time. Don’t fasten off but go around the corner. Crochet an edge with sc around the side, the bottom and the other side. Close with a slip stitch and fasten off.
Crochet another pocket in the same way. Sew them on the sides of the shawl, like shown in the photo.
If you like, you can attach fringes to the shawl. Or you van crochet an edge with sc or just leave it like this.
I used fringes and cut pieces of yarn which were about 30 cm long. For each fringe I used 4 strands. Each side has 16 fringes.
Work from the outside of the side, to the inside. See picture.
