Hi, welcome at dutchrochet.com.
My name’s Ingrid. I’m a mother, a teacher and a crochet designer. I learned how to crochet in 2014, by using tutorials on the internet. As I got a bit better at it, I made my first design: a big pink girly bear. I published it on my Dutch website and that was the beginning of many more crochet patterns.
At some point bun beanies were a big hit and I made some patterns. Translating them into English was quite exciting and it was great to see that people found them and made them!
So I started translating some of my other Dutch patterns. Recently I made this website, only for my English patterns and I’m still transferring them to here.
Since the beginning of 2020 I’m also a designer for the Dutch crochet magazine ‘Aan de haak’. That truly is a big honor and I feel very blessed for being able to share and improve my crochet skills.
Please feel welcome to scroll around and hopefully find some patterns that you’ll like. English is not my native language, so if you have any feedback on my patterns, please let me know.
